Settlers, Inc. Programs

Settlers, Inc. offers a series of "hands-on" history programs. Costumed instructors share their expertise in hand arts and related history. These programs are open to the public by advance registration. Programs may be taken individually for $12 for Settler members and $15 for non-members, or as a series of six included in the $50 Settler Hand Arts Series Membership.

Settler Series Program 2010-2011
Use it up, Wear it out, Make do...

Use it up, wear it out, make do..the necessarily simple lifestyle of early Settlers. This Series Program will explore going .green. in our modern day environment using methods from the past. Materials such as gourds, corn, herbs, seeds, husks, paper, snippets, needles, thread and .this and that. will be used throughout the Series.

Morning Series Program: doors open at 9:00 a.m. for registration, program display, and refreshments. The program begins at 9:30 a.m.

Evening Series Program: doors open at 6:30 p.m. for registration, program display, and refreshments. The program begins at 7:00 p.m. Class min. = 10.
